Reza Asgari

Principal Investigator, Green Building Technology Access Centre (SAIT)
Reza Asgari is a Principal Investigator at SAIT’s Green Building Technology Access Centre, where he leads applied research in sustainable construction, deep energy retrofits, and modular building technologies.
With an architectural background and professional experience in the construction industry since 2008, Reza’s career has evolved from architectural design to project and construction management. He has collaborated with architectural firms, EPC companies, general contractors, and subcontractors in Canadian and international markets. His work reflects a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, integrated problem-solving, and delivering practical outcomes in complex project environments. As an AEEA Advisory Board member, Reza brings insight from both field experience and applied research to support energy efficiency innovation across Alberta’s built environment.
