Net-Zero School

Mass timber construction and geothermal heating feature in this net-zero school.
To support long-term sustainability, a closed-loop geothermal field with 30 boreholes, each reaching 500 feet deep was installed to provide efficient heating and cooling as the building’s primary energy source. Geothermal engineer was Revolve Engineering, structural RJC Engineers, and mechanical engineering Smith+Andersen.
