Kelsey Brooks

Business Development Lead, Clean Technologies, NAIT

As the Business Development Lead for Clean Technologies at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), Kelsey works at the intersection of industry and applied research, building partnerships that advance clean technologies across areas such as clean fuels, circular economy, and grid innovation.

Kelsey has spent nearly a decade working in Canada’s clean energy sector, with experience spanning both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining NAIT, Kelsey served as Vice President, Western Canada at the Canadian Hydrogen Association, and as a Policy Analyst at Natural Resources Canada, where she played a lead role in implementing Canada’s Hydrogen Strategy. Kelsey is also the founder of Alpenglow Climate Consulting, supporting the development of clean energy policy and helping scale cleantech startups across the country.

Kelsey holds a degree in Economics and brings a deep understanding of Canada’s evolving energy landscape. She is particularly focused on bridging the gap between innovation and real-world deployment of technologies that support Canada’s emissions reductions as well as economic growth.
