Kamwin Electric Ltd. was established as a commercial electrical contractor in 1983 by Mearl Smith. We are proud of the service we have provided over the many years for our Edmonton Area and Northern Alberta Clients. Kamwin is a multifaceted contractor that does design, estimating, planning, and collaboration from the beginning to completion to ensure on-time project delivery for a wide variety of owner groups.
We work primarily in education, health care, seniors housing, municipal, recreational, and commercial markets. Through our 42-year history, we have had significant growth and employ in excess of 100 people. We can accomplish any size of project whether it be small, medium, or large. Kamwin acquired Cookshaw Electric in Grande Prairie in 2013 and has been successful in growing our presence in Northern Alberta with a fully operating office in Grande Prairie to complement our head office in Edmonton.
