Vendors deliver LEED Silver School via Integrated Project Delivery
A number of AEEA Retrofit Vendors collaborate via the Integrated Project Delivery method to construct the LEED Silver Garth Worthington school for Edmonton Public Schools.
The IPD Team identified elements of site design that focused on accessibility, student safety, ease of traffic/bus access, and the importance of regulating parent drop-off issues. The team engaged with EPSB on a weekly basis in the IPD Big Room to ensure decision making aligned with the school board’s project goals.
AltaPro Solar department also installed a 256-kw solar array on the roof which provides the equivalent of over 330 Acres of US forest in carbon emission reductions.
